GHK-CU

GHK-Cu (glycyl-L-histidyl-L-lysine) is a naturally occurring, high-affinity copper peptide found in human plasma that declines with age, acting as a powerful tissue regenerator, antioxidant, and anti-inflammatory agent. It promotes skin rejuvenation, stimulates collagen/elastin production, improves hair growth, and aids wound healing. GHK-Cu binds with copper(II) ions in the body to stimulate collagen and glycosaminoglycan synthesis in skin fibroblasts, while reducing oxidative damage. It is known to promote tissue remodeling and can partially reverse cognitive decline in animal studies.

Key Benefits and Uses

Skin Rejuvenation: Tightens aged skin, reduces wrinkles, improves firmness, and reduces photo-damage.

Hair Growth: Increases hair growth, thickness, and improves scalp health.

Wound Healing & Inflammation: Promotes healing, acts as an anti-inflammatory, and reduces free radical damage.

Anti-Aging: Known to modulate gene expression to reverse aging in skin cells.

Potential Side Effects

-Local Reactions (Injectable): Mild pain, redness, swelling, or irritation at the injection site.

-Allergic Reactions: Rarely, some individuals may experience itching, hives, or other allergic reactions.

-Metal Sensitivity: Since copper is a component, people with metal sensitivities or copper overload (Wilson's disease) may experience adverse reactions.

-Nausea or Headaches (Injectable): Some users report mild nausea, headaches, or lightheadedness
